In these snippets, a few ladies from the Celebrities group write about what they had fun doing in May, what they're excited about for June and what they learned about Helen Keller last week. Enjoy!
In May, I had the most fun eating lunch at Panera for Priscilla's last day at OTB. I miss Priscilla and hope she's doing well! I had my favorite soup in a bread bowl at Panera. We made sure to bring my wheel chair so we could walk around Broad Ripple Park after lunch. I've been bringing my voice recorder to tell the Celebrities what we've been doing at home. My friend Aaron from Sycamore started working at OTB in May, and I love to tease him! He took me to Joy Prom this year, and Aaron wouldn't dance to Justin Timberlake.

In May, I had fun with cooking class and music class. I did like art class and I like the community outings I did with my friends. I look forward to Jenny's and Erin's birthdays, and I look forward to Conner Prairie. I liked going to Panera Bread with my criends. I enjoyed the movies and I also look forward to the Fourth of July parade. I miss Priscilla and I like to eat ice cream and go swimming and read during free time. I would like it if we went to the Children's Museum. I look forward to going to Conner Prairie. I also look forward to hanging out with Amanda and I like to have parties. I learned about Helen Keller that she was blind and she could not hear but she could read braille and she learned to do sign language. I also learned about self-advocacy and I also like learning about Helen Keller going to college. Someday I want to get married and I want to have my own place so I can live by myself.
