Statehouse Tour With The Dolphins

11/12/2009 Today we went to the Indiana Statehouse. Before we went in, we had to go through a metal detector for safety. Inside, we	Here are our pictures from our trip to the State House. In the first picture we were listening to our tour guide. In the second one our group is posing on the State House steps.
saw statues made of marble from Italy. We also saw stained glass from Germany in the rotunda. We saw floors made from Indiana marble, and walls made from Indiana limestone. We got to sit in chairs from when the supreme court started in the 1800's and in chairs that senators usually sit in. The ceiling was painted different colors and had gold in some areas.
